Forging a Foundation for the Future

After a very successful 2014, the Hamilton Area Chamber of Commerce is excited about 2015 and all of the opportunities on the horizon for the Hamilton area. The Chamber is dedicated to "Forging a Foundation for the Future" by providing our members with a competitive advantage by continually promoting business, industry, tourism, and overall quality of life in our community.

2015 has a beautiful new look to downtown Hamilton with the completion of two major projects – the Downtown Hamilton Revitalization project and the Hamilton Aggie Plaza. Additionally, the Chamber has unveiled our new tourism-based website, www.VisitHamiltonAL.com.

Increase your competitive advantage in 2015 by participating in Chamber-offered seminars and workshops, networking opportunities, referrals, and various types of member promotions. The Chamber will continue to support and advance the community as a whole through our primary and secondary sponsorships of events such as the Buttahatchee River Fall Fest, Chamber Shrimp Boil, and the Hamilton Christmas Parade.

While we will always represent your interests during City Council sessions, we have special interest in topics such as the downtown parking discussions, the civic center/multipurpose building project, I-22 welcome center construction, etc. We will also maintain a presence at other business-related gatherings pertaining to Hamilton area development and will maintain strong working relationships with organizations which are vital to the success of our Chamber, our businesses, and our community.

As our membership is diverse, we are aware that some benefits will be more important to you than others. However, no matter the type of organization, the primary benefits of being a member of the Hamilton Area Chamber of Commerce are universal. Chamber membership conveys credibility and stability to your customers. Our pledge to you is to provide value for your membership by representing the interests of the businessmen and businesswomen working together to build better individual organizations, a better economy, and a better community in Hamilton, Alabama.

We offer our sincere gratitude to you for your continued support and membership in the Hamilton Area Chamber of Commerce, and we welcome all who would like to join us for the very first time. We encourage you to utilize our continually growing and evolving website, www.HamiltonChamberofCommerce.org. We look forward to a productive and exciting 2015 as we work together "Forging a Foundation for the Future" of Hamilton. We invite you to come grow with us, and as always, Shop Hamilton First!

Sincerely,

Dana K. Scott
