Celebrate the Christmas season in Hamilton with our annual Santa at the Firehouse and Christmas Parade! Holiday-themed floats and vehicles will parade through downtown. All businesses, churches, civic groups, and individuals are welcome—no entry fee required.
Line-Up Locations:
Marching Bands/Walkers: Hamilton Middle School exit road
Floats & Vehicles (including pageant winners): Hamilton Fire Department / former National Guard Armory
Equestrian: Marion County Co-Op
Antique Vehicles: Star Printing & The Journal Record
Parade Route:
Reverse of Homecoming Parade: From Hwy 17 → North on Military St. → West on Bexar Ave. → South on 1st St. SW → West on Aggie Ave.
Parade ends near Hamilton High gyms. Walkers picked up at City Hall South lawn; floats/vehicles unload where they loaded.
Rules & Regulations:
No fake Santas—the real Santa is arriving with help from the Hamilton Area Chamber of Commerce and Hamilton Fire Department.
Candy throwing is allowed!
A signed liability waiver is required (must be 19+ to register a group).
All drivers must be licensed and insured per Alabama law.
No phone/device use while driving.
Follow all instructions from police and Chamber volunteers.

Best Decorated Business Storefront
Trophies are awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in each category.
